Driving to work today

I have the best view driving to work, I go through downtown to get to Capitol Blvd. and this is what I see.

My camera phone doesn’t do it justice, downtown Raleigh is really pretty from afar.

Heroes

Tom and I have started watching Heroes season 1 on Netflix.

It’s soooo good! I don’t watch a lot of TV so I really have to enjoy a show to get sucked in. Right now this and LOST are at the top of my list.

New Job!

Today I had my first day at my new job.

Ok, so this picture was taken once I got home and changed into my comfortable pink robe, Tom had gone to Firebirds for dinner and brought me back some of their AWESOME mushrooms, my favorite.

Work was interesting, I’m working for a company for their Apple campaign.  I’ll be taking calls on iPhones and Macs and will get 3 weeks of training before going on the phones. The trainer is very energetic but kind of exhausting, at least we won’t be falling asleep in class. It seems like a good work environment, even though this location is much smaller than VZW.  I’ll miss having a cafeteria but it’s a small price to pay to be able to come home to Tom every night, instead of only on the weekends.  I’ll be able to work nights even after training, which is what I was hoping for. I hope this works out to be a good career for me.

I need way too much stuff…

Packed up and about to drive to Raleigh for the weekend, this is all the stuff I have to bring with me each time I go. Ugh. Too bad Pids can’t carry some.

NaBloPoMo

I’m going to give it a shot and try to post every day for the month of February, since I’ll be participating in NaBloPoMo.  It stands for National Blog Posting Month, they have a new contest every month and anyone who posts every day of that month is eligible to win.  I don’t really care about winning but I think it will be a good exercise  to get me to be a little more creative on my blog.

So here we go, day 3. Lets see if I run out of things to blog about. ;)

Chocolate Wine? Yes!

I saw this bottle of Chocovine the other night at Harris Teeter and thought “Ok, this will either taste really good or really bad.”

Oh my gosh it’s so good!  It tastes kind of like a mudslide, chocolatey but strong. Very strong, lol. I hope it’s something they continue to carry because I’ll definitely buy it again.  If you see it be sure to pick up an bottle for yourself and try it.
